The Peace Light of Bethlehem is Coming to Big Canoe
Peace Light, the perpetual flame that has burned for over a thousand years at the site of Jesus’ birth, will arrive in Big Canoe once again for this year’s Christmas season. Through the efforts of Big Canoe Chapel’s Scout Troop 20, the Peace Light of Bethlehem will be shared at multiple events in December.
Peace Light Events
- December 15th at Big Canoe Chapel Services at 9am and 10:30am: Peace Light will be used to light the Advent Peace Candle and will be shared after each service in Cousin’s Hall.
- December 21st & 22nd between 9 am to 7pm: Peace Light will be available on a table under the Chapel bell tower. Everyone is welcome to drop by at your convenience to receive the Peace Light.
We recommend you bring a candle or lantern to take the Peace Light to your homes for enjoyment through the Christmas season. The Troop will have a limited quantities of large vigil candles available for sale.
